This afternoon we took the kids to check out one of the dairy farms on the farm tour to see the new robot milkers.  The kids didn't know what to think of the plastic boots they had to wear!

Okay, okay, this picture is from a few weeks ago, but I like it.  The two were sitting on the couch looking at the AG catalogue, giggling and giggling at the dolls on the cover.  Little guy is always so happy when Missy doesn't have to go to school; they play together all day long!

Little guy had an appointment to go to today.  Grandpa called to take him birthday present shopping.  Little guy was so excited!!  Thanks Grandpa and Grandma, for the gift!!

Safety first!
I had to giggle when I looked out the window to see Dustin playing with Reuben this afternoon.  He made sure that Reuben was going to be safe for the wild ride!

Here is our yummy suet (from a few posts back) being enjoyed by the birds.  They love this stuff much better than the store bought stuff.  Some of the ingredients include kidney suet (from Fraser Valley Meats), chunky peanut butter, cornmeal, raisins, oats, and mixed bird seed.

On another note, I must have sounded a bit overwhelmed yesterday in my post.  We are all fine :) and today was a much better day indeed!

Well...it's been a day....yup, it has.  It is now almost 8:30pm and the house is in shambles.  This only shows a teenie bit of the picture...think: dryer going with kids bedsheets, hampers full of clean, unfolded clothes, dirty clothes laying where they've been dropped etc.etc.  But I will say that after a very long, eventful day full of unexpected happenings, we are safe at home at last.

Big guy has been busy in the shop lately. This morning I looked out the window and there was a new bird feeder that he had built all by himself! The birds seem to be enjoying it too!

Well, the snow started last night, and it continued til this morning.
