Blake's first haircut ended up being a family affair.
Josie sat in the chair with Blake in her lap
and Dustin was there to provide the entertainment.

Last night, Rich fed Blake his bottle before bed.
Blake fell asleep in Rich's arms.  It was so cute, I had to take a picture.
Obviously he wasn't sleeping too deep if the camera woke him up!

I have to laugh every time I look at it!
I really wonder what he's thinking here, staring straight through me,
with that smug look on his face.

And I'm happy to report that we had a wonderful sleep
(not totally interrupted, but close).  Hopefully the bug is done in this house!!

Sometimes I wonder if the day will ever come that we, all 6 of us,
will sleep through the night, with no interruptions.
Last night consisted of buckets and midnight laundry and whimpering
baby and more laundry and sick big brother and sleepless hours.
Let's hope for a better night tonight :)

Today was the first day back to school after Spring Break.
Dustin was the 'black cloud' this morning,
but he came home happy.
Josie was very much looking forward to going back,
but this afternoon she's the 'black cloud'.
I really hope they get back into school routine soon.

On Saturday I couldn't resist mowing the lawn.

On Monday we went for a walk and when I checked on

IT'S SPRING!!!
We made it, we really did!
I was going to post this yesterday, but the weather was so awful
that it didn't seem like Spring at all.  But today the sun is shining
and it's beautiful outside.  Enjoy it everyone.

March 20

Yesterday, the sun was shining and everyone felt
that it was going to be a good 'outside' day.
I said to the kids that maybe today would be a good day to set up the trampoline,
not really thinking how that would actually happen with Rich working and all.
Before I knew it, the kids were outside, the shed was thrown open,
and out came the trampoline pieces.  They were organized nicely on the lawn.
Gramps happened to come at the perfect time, and he was quickly put to work!
They had the frame put together in 10 minutes flat.
What a surprise Rich was in for when he looked out the window to see this!
Now all they had to do was wait for the shop guys to stop for lunch
to stretch the tarp on the springs and they were ready for action!!

but once you've read one, you will NEED to read the others.

Because it's the first day of Spring Break and...
because it's raining...
we decided to make cupcakes...
Actually Dustin made the cupcakes
and they all did the decorating.
Now I'm off to vacuum the kitchen floor!!
