until you take a peek inside to see 3 baby chickadees inside.
Mom and Pop chickadee are constantly flitting around,
finding food and feeding their babies.

all enjoyed Spring Soccer league this year.
Final games, ending with pizza and medals for all, were played this week.
We are all going to miss the weekly games...
but an open Summer schedule with minimum commitments is wonderful!!

Reuben gave this really cute Father's Day gift to Rich on Sunday.
So heartfelt and lovely....
Until we noticed that he had secretly ripped the gift open already...
and eaten more than 1/2 the jelly beans.

The long-anticipated school hiking day came...
and Dustin couldn't go :(
Hiking with a sprained (possibly broken) foot isn't a great idea,
so we headed to Harrison Hot Springs for the morning.
It was cool and overcast, so we mostly had the whole town to ourselves :)
