We were going for a drive on Saturday, when I shot this guy out of the car window.  He wasn't too impressed, 'cause when I tried to get another shot, he flew away!

A much-anticipated trip to the pet store and the kids are beta fish owners.
Interesting names...Duke (pictured above), Violet, Pup, Sparky, Bob the Builder...

It's cold and blustery out there!  But the sun is shining so I'm not complaining!

I opened the front door to put out some bird seed...and Sasha raced in and up the stairs after the kids!  Yup, it's cold out there.

The kids were so excited to see snow on the ground this morning..so out they went.  They played for 20 minutes, then they were soaked, so they had a nice bath to warm up.
Do I have to say that Dustin was not at all impressed to have to go to school today?  He thinks the school principal should give every kid their own day off...and his would be a snowy day!

Rich made beds for them and last night they slept in them for the first time!

Our crazy dog is such a people dog...I think she thinks she has all the rights of a person too!  Rain or shine, she thinks she OWNS the chairs in the shop office...so when Rich takes a break, she just joins him!

Oh this kid is a hoot!
We were getting ready to go outside for a bit when I said to him jokingly,
"You're just trouble from the get-go!"
To which he said, "I's not a gecko!"

And the rock?  "A gift for you, Mama!"

Despite the fact that our downstairs bathroom has more than adequate lighting,
the kids didn't think so.  So they rigged this up.
Notice the regular light switch is covered up to deter anyone from using it.
The extension cord snakes out under the bathroom door where it is to be plugged in before entering.
And can you tell my kids LOVE tape???  There's tape everywhere!

Oh wow!  I was so tickled when I came home this afternoon to find these beautiful blooms on the kitchen table.
And the card was even better (but that's our secret!!)

Little guy had his first visit today.  He was so excited!  The treasure box was the highlight of the visit, of course.
