make sure you pick it up the next time you are at the library.
I think it is almost funnier for the mom reading the story than it is for the kids.
It was the one book they specially requested from the library.

Day 3 in Victoria.
I have to say that although we both agreed that we would have loved a few more days to relax, it was good to go home to the other three kids.  The drive was so gorgeous.  The weather was sunny and crisp with beautiful views of the snow covered mountains all around us.  We are grateful to be home again as a family in good health.  And a HUGE thank you to Auntie Renee for having Dustin, to Auntie Arenda for taking care of Josie and Reuben, and Murphy? ....thanks for keeping the animals alive!!

February 3

Day 2 in Victoria.  Another beautiful, sunny day to enjoy outside!
* Blake loved the morning sunshine streaming in our hotel room.  He thought his shadow was so cool, watching it every time he jumped in his excersaucer.
* We walked on the path along the ocean for a long time.  Blake was fussy because of the wind and sun in his face so we put him in the basket under the stroller and he thought it was great.  Before we knew it, he was sleeping all cozy down there.  People thought we were crazy to be pushing an 'empty' stroller!!  Most people didn't see him down there, all tucked away.
* There were even snowdrops along the path.  First ones I've seen this year.
* Take a good look at that red bike.  It was covered with a fuzzy, hairy material!  Couldn't resist taking a picture of it for the kids...and for you!
* Back at the hotel at night, the outside was done up so nice with pretty lights, pots of spring pansies, a waterfall, and a wonderful statue of a man and his dog.

February 2

Rich and I spent a few days in Victoria this week.
Blake was lucky enough to come along.
The weather was beautiful.
We spent a lot of time walking around the city
enjoying the weather, the scenery, and good company.
The sunset over the ocean was absolutely stunning.

Yeah!!  My new camera!
While I've learned so much about taking pictures
using natural light these past 9 months,
it's great to have a camera with a flash again!!
