This little man was so excited when I said we were going outside to clean up in the gardens and such.  He's a great  helper to have around.  He even 'sees' work that needs to be done.  After a few minutes of playing around, he noticed some Sasha piles on the front lawn.  He happily went to find the scooper and started cleaning up the piles on the lawn.  Back and forth he went, happily singing to himself, "Here comes the Dog Log Man!"

Blake is 8 months old today.
But I console myself with pictures like these.
He's so babyish yet here, or not?

Mr. Beaver has been busy down in the slough on our road this past year.
Here is more evidence of the damage he's done.
On the second picture you can see a pile of shavings under the tree trunk.

What to do when sister's legs get tired from biking?
Just strap her bike onto the back of the train and keep going!!

Wishing you all a Happy New Year!
And Happy Birthday to Esther!

Wow, here we are at the end of another year.
Time ready does seem to fly by, doesn't it?
I think of how much things have changed...
and how much has stayed the same.

God has blessed us so abundantly again this year.
We welcomed Blake into our family.
We were blessed with enough work to keep Rich busy this year again.
We had food and shelter, clothes and a good school for the kids.
We were allowed to go to God's house every Sunday again.
And he has blessed us with our health.
We think of others that are so seriously sick.
We see it in our own extended family and it breaks our hearts.
May He still grant healing, if it is His will.

We think of the year past,
and where it has brought us.
And the coming year...
And where it will take us from here.

We may humbly hope that He will again provide for us
as He has so richly in the past.
We wish you all the Lord's blessing in 2012.
