Am I the only crazy woman that lets her kids play
with sawdust in the house?
If they would have asked permission before bringing it in,
my answer would have been NO!
But when I saw this, (don't tell them) I thought it looked like lots of fun.
And so they have sawdust in the house.
I haven't let them play with sawdust but lots of other messy things just because it would keep them occupied for a very long time. When it's gray and chilly during summer they've got to do something....
ReplyDeleteBefore I read what you wrote I looked closely to see if it was in the shop or the house and saw it is in the house! I am sure they will be entertained for awhile :)

Ummm.... are you the same Mom I know who doesn't like to let her kids play with Play-Doh???? Kudos to you for letting your kids have fun in your house!!
ReplyDeleteSawdust is a lot easier to clean up than playdoh! Vacuum cleaner works wonders!
ReplyDeleteBut, yes, you have a point. I need to relax a little!
Thats awesome!! They probably think you are the best mom out there!!
ReplyDeleteIf only they did...sigh...
ReplyDeleteleave playdoh for a day, it will harden and just vacuum it up. your filter for your vacuum will probably need cleaning after vacuuming up sawdust or did you use a shop vac?
ReplyDeleteyou are brave!! i too hate the mess of playdough- that is a great patio item- i do let tem do dry corn, beans, noodles for with playmobil and lincoln logs-keeps them busy for days! espcially in the winter and wet days!
