Hmmm...can I figure this out from the handwriting,
or do I have to wait an entire year to find out who she is???

Well, I would guess someone that had schooling in Holland?? Looks like 'dutch' handwriting. There is always a chance though that someone is tricking you and getting a friend of theirs to write their cards for them :) My mom used to have a secret friend at some club she belonged too and we always wrote in her cards for her.
