Despite the rainy weather, we had a wonderful time
celebrating Canada Day.
Decorating maple leaf cookies
Cruising around on 2 wheels, 3 wheels, 4 wheels...
anything that was available.
Tricycles, bikes, skelters, rollerblades...there was something for everyone.
Shooting the breeze
Scavenger hunt...here's one clue!
Hiding out in the play fort...
thinking they were too big for scavenger hunts:)
Food, food, and more food!
Face painting
The pinata was a big 'hit', no pun intended!!
Scrambling for candy
There was a volleyball game, a bouncy castle,
fireworks, and a big bonfire. Had the weather been
hot and sunny, there was a huge tub of water balloons ready
and plans for apple dunking! Maybe next year...:)

ReplyDeleteKrista,
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks to you for everything that YOU did! Sure turned out great! The kids are rolled out of bed with smiled on their faces and the talk I hear coming from the playroom tells me that next year Heritage Park might not cut it anymore!
