It's been almost a week since I last posted...

Been thinking that this whole blog thing is getting 'old'...
Thinking that I should just call it quits...

Heard...not directly to me...that posting pictures of my kids is unwise...
Makes me question why I'm doing it...

Finding this time of year a lot harder to find things to share...
Especially because this time of year...kinda gets me a bit down...

Change it up a bit...don't post every day...or quit altogether...
In a slump...undecided...

This guy is a menace when it comes to anything craft related.
Pencil crayons, felt pens, glue, scissors...he will find them all!

Our place has gone to the birds!!!


They are so comfortable that they now help themselves to seed
if I haven't gotten around to feeding them yet.

And this cute little chickadee flew right in the back door this morning
when we were getting ready to leave for town.  It gave Reuben such shock
that he came bounding out the house with only one shoe on!

have found my new peanut feeder.

The kids were doing more grumbling than cleaning up the playroom
so I asked them if they wanted to fold some laundry too.  They gladly obliged.
Too bad I can't upload the video of this, complete with Christmas carols,
crazy faces, and a whole lot of giggles...

The birdies discovered the yummy bagel that Reuben made for them
at preschool last week.  They ate all the goodies off of it so
we smeared on more peanut butter and pressed more bird seed into it.
But this morning, the entire bagel was gone!  Who is the culprit??

Going to the river for the afternoon is always so much fun.
Some of the cousins and aunts and uncles were there too.
We even took Sasha and Blake along this time.
As you can see, Blake loved every minute of it...
mind you, so did Sasha!!  I don't think she's run so much in a long time!!
When I fed her tonight, she got out of her doghouse all gingerly and crippled-like!

It's been clear...and cold the past few days.
Even this Blue Heron seems to be a tucked in against the cold.

As I was driving around town doing errands this morning,
I was enjoying the leaves blowing around and skipping over the streets.
I was thinking how wonderful this blustery weather was.
Then I came home to this...
My beloved bird feeder...
It's gonna need some handyman repairs :(

Yesterday it rained most of the day, but late afternoon
the sun broke through, even while the last drops were falling.
The colours of the Japanese Maple tree were just gorgeous in the sun!

I used to love the time change in November...
but ever since kids entered our lives, that extra hour of sleep just isn't to be had.
It seems the kids are mixed up for days/weeks, trying to adjust.
Maybe one year we'll be able to sleep in that extra hour again:)
