Wood Duck Story: Chapter 3 (see Chapter 2 here)
Well, there has been no duck sightings for more than a week so we decided to open up the box
and check for evidence. And evidence there was! Many egg shells and a bit of fluff.
Too bad we missed seeing the babies leave the nest, but exciting non-the-less that the
mother duck successfully brooded her young and that all the eggs hatched.
And the box is cleaned out and ready to be used again:)

One day these keys are going to go missing...
Blake is constantly going into the shop to find Rich's keys.
He then proceeds to 'unlock' Rich's truck, wanting to go for a drive.
So most days, he and I go for a quick little drive in Rich's truck:)
And then he's happy again...oh, the simple pleasures...
Thanks to all for the birthday wishes, texts and phone calls, flowers and gifts.
You all made my day better than it already was:)
Top left - Dustin made this.
To right - Reuben draw that for me.
Bottom left - even Google knew it was my birthday.
Bottom middle - thanks secret sister, it's already found the perfect spot in the garden.

Sometimes customers conveniently leave their undesirables behind in Rich's shop.
Well, this chair is one of those things. After watching the paint peel off it for too long,
it was time to get rid of it. The boys happily built a fire with it this afternoon. Bye bye chair:)
Does anyone by any chance recognize this chair? Hope you didn't want it back...
If you still want your 'sand spreader' or your table saw, they are still available for pickup;)
The new deck resident:) This little bunny roams freely around the deck.
Here he is, hiding under the potting bench, away from Blake:)
And he's a bit wary of me too...and rightly so, I guess. This morning when I tried to catch him,
all I ended up with was a handful of white fur. Reuben looked all shocked...'Mom, you pulled off his tail!!!!"
I do have to admit though, he is quite cute with his floppy pink ears.
