Rich started this bird feeder in November, then it sat, waiting for a roof.
Yesterday, he finished it off, and this morning
the birds were enjoying their breakfast on the deck!
I'm so happy with it!  (Krista, you can tell Les ours is finally done!!)

Note to self: don't ask Rich to tackle a project like this again.
He's a PERFECTIONIST, and 'throwing' something together like this,
with rough edges, and pieces that don't fit together perfectly,
DRIVES HIM NUTS!!!

At lunch time we were pleasantly surprised to see a wood duck waddling
around on our front lawn.  Rich was convinced that he was scouting
around for a place to build a nest.  So an hour later he was in the shop,
plans in hand, constructing a nest box.  It would be so exciting if they actually
found the box and made a nest in it!  Now we just have to be patient.

I love the look of concentration on Reuben's face.
He was so happy with himself that he managed to hook up the trailer
and was allowed to give Blake rides.  He can barely reach the pedals
but it works!  One time when he came around, he said
"Here comes Super Reuben!"

Ha, funny, just as I'm typing this, he's asking to do this again!
But now he thinks we should go for a walk down the road like this.

What's a man to do when his kids bike further than he can walk?
Well, just sit down by the side of the road, of course!
When they notice, they will quickly turn around to see if he's okay!!

Dustin loves the game 'Trouble'
(in Dutch I think it's called 'Mens Erg Je Niet')...
except when Oma sends his man back to start,
just when he thinks he's about to win!!
Haha!

There aren't as many Bald Eagles around as there were a month ago,
but this one was enjoying the view from the neighbour's tree this morning.
