When the furnace doesn't come on as often as you would like,

and your name is Dustin,

and you have a tendency to fall, repeatedly, into the slough, filling your boots with water,

and you have a day off school and plans to (again) play by the slough,

and you want your boot dry NOW,

you rig something up in a hurry...and it worked beautifully :)

Love that boy and his problem-solving skills...
