With Josephine's birthday on the horizon, the search for the perfect gift is always a challenge.
This year, on the top of her birthday list was a kitty.
We've always stayed away from the idea of owning a cat,
but the thought of having a mouser around was starting to appeal to us...
Think bird feeder....
Think undesirable night time critters....
Yup, time to be proactive...
So how perfect was it when this little kitty followed us ALL the way home down the road
when we went for a walk on Tuesday. It happily stuck around all day, content to entertain us.
But in the back of my mind I had a feeling it might be someone's pet.
And after making a phone call to the farmer down the road...yup, my feeling was confirmed.
They were missing their kitty.
So back it went to its rightful home...
But the thought of having a cat around became even more appealing...
