The smell of pig p**p sure competes with my lovely lilac bush!!

I wanted to take a quick picture (or 2) so I could update my 'kids' picture.
Looking at the reactions I got, for some reason I think they didn't like my idea.
But in the end, I did manage to get a 'OK' one out of the ordeal!

Today started out bright and early...
Grade 2 Vancouver Zoo Day!
On the road by 8am...that takes a bit of planning with a baby.
But the weather was perfect...finally a sunny day!

These hippos have the right idea...

After a day of walking around the zoo, I'm ready to sleep!!

And this little guy, he got to come along!

And I know you are all wondering how much he weighs...

As of yesterday....11lb 4oz (5100gr)!!!

Last year we planted some trees along our driveway.  We chose 5 columnar trees so they wouldn't grow too wide and obstruct our view.  The Hawthorne tree in the first picture is so laden with flowers..and add the rain that is soaking it, that is it drooping toward the ground.  I love all the flowers, but I really hope the tree isn't going to stay droopy like this!
