Things are a bit slow here in the computer department..so this is late too!
Anyways, on Saturday we puttered in the garden a little between baby time!
It was so nice to be outside for a bit...and the rain held off too!

Today I had the privilege of being invited to Mother's Luncheon in Josie's class.
They sang many songs, recited all their bible texts (26 of them! - one for each letter of the ABC's), then we had lunch together, before heading outside for time on the playground!  Such a special time with my daughter!  Thank you Josie!

Take a good look at this picture.  Can you figure out what's going on?
Dustin is determined to catch a bird...alive.  Ever since Grandma told him about the time that auntie Esther caught a bird when she was little, he's wanted to try it.
Way on the other end of the deck, where the birds congregate, he's got a box rigged up, with birdseed sprinkled liberally underneath it.  A long rope it attached to the piece of wood that is keeping the box propped up.  When a bird goes in for seed, he pulls on rope.  I should go check to see if he's been successful yet!

Yesterday was a wonderful, sunny, spring day
and the kids enjoyed every minute of it.
And today...it's raining again.

When I went to pick up Josie and Reuben from Arenda's place

after Blake's doctor appt, Josie presented me with this lovely bouquet...

freshly picked from Arenda's garden!

Sorry about that Arenda!  They sure are pretty though!

The sight of the swallows checking out my birdhouse
makes me very happy!  I really hope they move in!

And to make my day, little Blake was intently looking at me...
then broke out into the most beautiful first smile!!!!
So sweet!
