May 16 - my due date...
but we've been blessed with Blake for 13 days already. How sweet he is!
But I can't believe we are dealing with thrush already...he's not even 2 weeks old yet. Really hoping that it won't drag on for months like with Reuben when he was a baby. Sigh...poor baby...
PS if you have any suggestions for getting rid of thrush...effectively...leave a comment, I'm open to ideas.

ReplyDeleteOh Marian, what a drag! I'm with Esther. Gentian Violet. It's very messy unless you like being painted with purple. Put it all over his mouth and also yourself. Like, paint yourself purple, wait for it to dry and then let the light reflect on it so you see the bronzes and greens as well as the purple. Hey, you might as well see some beauty in it! Watch the clothes because when he nurses the purple will of course come off you and over his face. But it really does work. Both Cara and Cody got it at the same time but while we all looked funny for a few days I really did wipe it out pretty quickly! All the best!
