This northern flicker has been visiting our place lately.
This morning, he was sitting on the bird feeder right outside
our kitchen window, but before I could take a picture
of him there, he was scared away into the tree
There is suet in the bird feeder, but I must have scared him off when I came into the kitchen, not knowing the bird was sitting there. Hopefully he comes back to try it!
They love suet...Make sure he can get to it and he might hang around.
