April 17

Posted by Picasa
The Spring birds have been coming by the feeders in the past week.
On Sunday, the Evening Grosbeak (pictured) came for sunflower seeds.
Mr. Yellow Rumped Warbler has been seen a few more times...
once, clinging to the trim of my kitchen window, peering in!
Yesterday, an American Goldfinch discovered the nijer feeder.
But still no sign of any hummingbirds.  We're still waiting...

  1. I haven't had any grosbeaks yet, but have had 3 hummers since last Monday. No goldfinches yet either. You seem to get birds earlier than I do up on the hill here, so hopefully they show up soon!
