Wow!  Doesn't he look thrilled with his 'cake'.
Don't know why but he wasn't too impressed with my cupcakes this year.
He had is heart set on a store-bought cake...and I didn't deliver.
Sorry buddy, hopefully next year better!

  1. You totally have to post the picture of him blowing out his candle!!! He looked a whole lot more "in to it" then.:) - Krista

  2. ps. The cupcakes looked absolutely delightful! I love the bright colors! And besides that - if you would have ordered them from the store, who's to say they would have all had exactly the right amount of m&m's on each one? With the m's facing down, no less?

    1. Krista, that was exactly the dilemma I faced when I went to the store the night before his party, riddled with guilt, looking for the perfect cake. But I couldn't find anything that didn't make me cringe because it wasn't exactly perfect!

    1. Patricia, they are m&m's and you should know HOW hard it was to stay away from them...and the chips...and the cupcakes...and the candy. But I did it...all for the points!! haha

wow, patience putting those m&m's on upside down and in such perfect rows :)
I don't know if I could survive a childs birthday party on this diet :) but yes, worth it for the points.
    Keep it up.
